The concept of Poised, Pretty in Pink® is the vision of First Lady Kim Landers, of New Birth South Metropolitan Church to provide a forum that demonstrates both church and social etiquette skills to girls 3-12. Poised, Pretty in Pink® events are designed to influence girls to expect and set new standard toward higher living.
So often, young girls’ expectations of how they are to behave and how they are to be treated are low. In many instances, they are not respected by others because they do not respect themselves. However, a lot of that behavior, nonchalant attitude, is a consequence of them not being taught to expect better and to not settle for less. Poised, Pretty in Pink® exposes young girls to experiences which allow them to see what Higher Living is all about. |
